Honey Roasted Chicken
one 4 to 6 pound chicken
The first step to to preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Now rice the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Place the chicken on a rack in a roasting pan.
Melt 1/4 cup butter. Brush the butter on all sides of the chicken. Make sure you save some to use later. Sprinkle salt over the chicken.
Roast the chicken for 20 minutes. and then flip the bird over and roast for another 10 minutes.
Mix some honey in with the butter. Take a pastry bush and brush the mixture on the chicken. Roast for another 10 to 15 minutes until done.
Take the bird from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before carving.
