Mexican Style Turkey

I adapted this recipe from The Turkey Store. It was a small cookbook given by my parents. It is a really fast and easy recipe that I hope you will enjoy.

Mexican Style Turkey

So first...

Mix together 1/4 cup flour, 1/8 teaspoon chili powder, 1/8 teaspoon garlic salt and 1/8 teaspoon onion powder.

Put 2 to 3 teaspoons of cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Coat the 4 turkey breast slices in the flour mixture and shake off the excess. Cook the turkey in the oil until no longer pink inside. Around 2 minutes each side.

Set oven to around 450 degrees F. and place the turkey on a broiler pan or baking sheet. Top each slice with red salsa, a tomato slice and cheese. I used sliced cheddar or jack or Mexican cheese would work. Broil or bake in the oven until the cheese melts. Serve with guacamole and sour cream, if you desire

Suggested sides: Tossed salad, rice and refried beans.
