Superfast Cobbler

Superfast Cobbler

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup self-raising flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 cups fresh fruit
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a shallow 1 1/2-quart bakingdish. In mixing bowl combine flour, sugar and milk; pour evenly over butter. Combine fruit, sugar and water. Spoon evenly over fruit mixture. Do not stir. Bake 40-45 minutes.
