Many- Ways Meatballs


Many- Ways Meatballs

This is a microwave reicpe that you can use any flavor of condensed soup you would like. Some of the new flavored ones would be nice since the meatballs are very simple any flavor will work. The orginal recipe called for ground beef but any gound meat could be used.

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef or other ground meat
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup minced onion
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can condensed Cheddar cheese, ccream of celery, cream of chicken, etc.
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons parsley flakes

In a mixing bowl mix together the meat, bread crumbs, onion, egg and salt. Shape into 16 meatballs and place into a 2 quart microwaveable dish.

Cook, covered for 5 to 6 minutes, stirrring halfway through cooking time. Pour off drippings.

Stir together the soup, water and parsley. Pour over the meatballs. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes. stirring halfway through cooking time.

Rest 5 minutes before serving.
