Chicken and Snow Peas
1/2 pound chicken , cut into 1 inch pieces
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water.
Sprinkle ginger over chicken. Mix water and cornstarch. Mix into chicken and ginger. Set aside.
Mix together:
3 tablespoons water or broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
Set aside.
In a heated wok or fry pan put 3 tablespoons oil and chicken pieces. Fry chicken. Add shitake mushrooms, sliced thin and 1 carrot cut into 1 x 1/4 inch rectangles or match stick shape.
Add 1/2 pound snow peas
Heat through . Add reserved mix and cook until broth is heated through.
Serve with rice.
