Baked, Creamed Chicken

This is a simple Amish entree.

1 chicken, cut up in serving pieces
1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
3 tablspoons butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups cream

Mix flour, salt and pepper together. Dredge chicken in mixture. Melt butter or margarine in skillet. Brown floured chicken on both sides, then place in roasting pan. Pour cream over chicken. Cover
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 -2 hours.

Makes 6 servings
