Butter Cookies in shape of 8
6 doz.
2 cups butter
2 cups flour
1/2 cup water
sugar
Cut butter into flour, stir in water forming a dough similar to pastry. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 375F. Roll small amount fo dough into a pencil shape, bring ends together and twist like figure 8. Dip both sides in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until brown on bottom
