Buffalo Burgers

In California along the former Route 66 is a city called Upland. It was started by immigrants from Canada. When I was a child we went out this one restaurant at least once called the Buffalo Inn. And believe me at the time it was out in the boonies but now with the freeway it is just another suburb of Los Angles. Another point of interest in the area is the first McDonald's.

These buffalo burgers are really bison. The true buffalo is from Asia and looks completely different. With this recipe to can add and subtract flavorings as you like.

1 lb Ground buffalo
1/4 teaspoons Pepper
1 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 teaspoons Ketchup
1 teaspoons Salt
1 teaspoons Mustard
2 teaspoons Horseradish

Mix up how you like and then form into patties and grill.
