Vegetable Biryani- Indian

2 cups Basmati Rice
1 cup mixed vegetable (cauliflower, potato, carrot,, french beans)
5 oz. green peas
3 thinly sliced onion
2 thinly sliced green chilies
salt to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoon caraway seeds
4 cloves
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
4 tomatoes
1/2 cup yogurt
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
3 tablespoon dry fruits and nuts (raisin , cashews)

Wash rice before cooking. Put the rice with 3 3/4 cups water, salt and 2 tablespoons dried fruit. Cook in pan or microwave as ordinary rice. Cut all the vegetables into small pieces and fry each one separately in oil. Fry mustard seeds, chili, cinnamon and caraway seeds. cloves, black pepper powder for 1/2 minutes. Add salt and chili powder and stir. Add finely chopped tomatoes and fry until they are cooked. Add yogurt and stir well. Heat it for 10 seconds. Add all the fried vegetables. Add the cooked rice and mix well. Cook for 3 minutes.

Serve with dry fruit and nuts.
