A very popular food to for breakfast or plate lunch.

1 tablespoon garlic powder ( or to taste)
2 slices white bread moistened jus' a little bit in water
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 cups water
2 beef boullion cubes
2 tablesppons flour

Plenty hot, cooked white rice (sticky kine) , ketchup, shoyu or whatever you like for condiment

Mix together ground beef, 1 egg, 1/2 of the envelope of soup mix, 2-3 tablespoons shoyu, pepper, garlic powder, and bread slices. Shape into 4 patties. Cook patties in large skillet until browned and cooked through. Remove patties and set aside. Add onion to skillet and cook in drippings until onion is soft ( about 5 minutes). Combine flour with remaining dry soup mix , add to skillet. Stir in 3 cups water and bring to boil. Add bouillon cubes and simmer about 10 minutes or until desired thickeness, stirring so the bottom does not burn. While gravy is simmering , fry remaining 4 eggs in another skillet "sunny side up" or "over easy" style, set aside. In 4 bowls put generous amount of cooked rice. Place 1 patty each one top of rice. Place 1 fried egg each on top of patty. Cover generously with brown gravy. Top with shoyu, ketchup or whatever you like. ENJOY!!!!
