I saw this package of cherry chips in the grocery store so I picked up a bag. Today I decided to try something with them. Oatmeal cookies with the cherry chips and chocolate chips seemed like a good combination. I used the Betty Crocker cookbook Oatmeal-Raisin Cookies recipe leaving out the raisin and adding chips instead. Everyone enjoyed these cookies although I felt they were too sweet. A good cookie for children if.you want to make something a bit different.
