Fruit Flavored Mashmallows

I discovered a package of flavored marshmallows at the grocery store today and decided to purchase a package and come up with a couple of recipes that could utilize them. They have a fruity taste much like the taste of fruit loops or fruit candy. I sprinkled crumbs of ginger cookies I smashed in a bag on both recipes for contrast.



Fruity Tropical Salad

1/2 package of flavored marshmallows
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
1 can tropical fruit, drained
1 can diced, pineapple, drained
1 container of cool whip topping or around 1 1/2 cups whipped cream

Mix together and chill until ready to serve.


Banana and flavored marshmallow pudding

1 5 oz. package of vanilla pudding prepared
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 package of the flavored marshmallows

Mix together and chill until ready to serve.
