Campfire Goulash

2 teaspoons oil
1 pound ground beef. turkey or chicken
14/ cup chopped onion or more to taste
1 green peper, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 cups frozen or canned corn
1 cup mushrooms, sliced or small can
1/2 cup olives
2 cans tomato soup
2 1/2 soup cans water
2 1/2 tesapoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons salt
12 oz pasta shells
3 cups grated cheddar cheese

Brown ground meat in the oil in a 12" duch oven using 20-22 birquettes as bottom heat. After beef has browned add onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic. Saute until tender. Add soup , water, corn, olives and spices. Stir to mix. Bring to boil and add noodles.

Place lid on Dutch oven and put 10 to 12 briquettes on bottom and 14-16 on top for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over top and bake 1o more minutes until cheese is melted.

serves 6-8
