Pigs In A Blanket- Crescent Roll Style

I used beef franks for this lunch entree and the crescent rolls you get in the dairy area of the supermarket. You can use rolled out biscuits too.

1 package of franks
1 package of crescent rolls
American cheese

Make a slide in each frank starting about 1/4 inch from end to the other end but do not go all the way through the frank. You are making a pocket to put the cheese. Cut the cheese into small strips and layer three strips and put into the slit pocket you make. Wrap the frank stuffed with the crescent rolls. Bake on a pre- greased pan and bake at 350 degree F for about 10 minutes or until browned.
