Kirby House

Tonight I got a treat for my Birthday with dining at the beautiful Victorian era Kirby House located in downtown Abilene, Kansas was built by Banker Thomas Kirby in 1885. They seemed to have changed the menu from the last time I had been there (about a year) but they still have a good selection. I had the KC Steak with a baked potato and green beans. It was very good with the steak cooked just right. If you are in the area on Saturday night they have Prime Rib that is delicious.

They also have a coffee shop in the restaurant and may be a nice place to stop after viewing the Eisenhower museum.
