Hot and Sour Cabbage-China

Serves 6-8

1 pound green or white cabbage
3-4 tablespoons vegetable oil
10-12 red Sichuan Red peppercorns
Few whole dried red peppers
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoon rice vinegar
few drop sesame oil

Cut the cabbage into small pieces. Heat the oil in a preheat wok until smoking, then add the peppercorns and chilies. Add the cabbage to the wok and stir-fry about 2-3 minutes. Add the salt and sugar, continue stirring for another minute then add soy sauce, vinegar and sesame oil. Blend well and serve.
