This is a simple way to make canned beans better.
6 servings
vegetable oil
1/2 cup onions, chopped
28 ounces baked beans
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
Cook onions is a saucepan with a little oil until tender. Stir in the beans, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire and liquid smoke. Mix well. Simmer, uncovered about 15 minutes until heated throughtly.
