Easy Hamburger Stew
1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 package of Instant onion soup mix
1 cup frozen peas
2 cups water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 package (1 pound) noodles cooked according to package instructions
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Canned vegetables (optional)
Brown meat in skillet. Add 1 cup of water, instant soup mix and frozen peas. Cook for around 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch with remaining 1 cup water and stir into skillet. Cook until thicken. You can adjust amount of cornstarch and water according to how thick you like it. Add cooked noodles and spices. Add any canned vegetable, as desired. Serve with tossed salad and bread.
