Chili with beans- American


Chili with beans












1 pound ground beef or beef cut into chunks
2 cloves garlic; finely chopped
1 quart tomato juice
1 teaspoon or one cube beef bouioin
1 tablespoon chili powder
3-4 15 oz canned pinto or black beans
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
salt, as needed
cooking oil
pepper, as needed
1 6 oz tomato paste, opitional to make thicker if desired

Brown the beef in a skillet until ground beef is thought browned or beef
chunks are wells seared. Remove and reserve.
Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook over medium heat until onion
become deep brown., about 12 to 15 minutes. Add tomato juice, bouillon. Add
beef and bring to a simmer. Cover the pot and stew either over low heat or
in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour or place into crock pot on high.

Add spices and canned beans and simmer or another 15 to 20 minutes until
beef is fork tender. and the liquid has reduced and is thicker.

Serve chili in bowls, mugs of soup plates. Add cheddar cheese of top if
desired.
