Sauerbraten Tonight

Since the Pot Roast needs to be cooked at least two hours and I work until 5 tonight I decided to use the crockpot and precook the potatoes this morning. Even at 6 A.M. in the morning the smell went you are brown the Sauerbraten is wonderful. For a crockpot you can reduce the liquid.

Usually to rice potatoes you use a potato ricer but you can use a grader or anything that will cut the cooked potatoes into small pieces. It is best to do this while the potatoes are still hot.
