Low Fat Danish -Bread Machine

If you have the time, like sweet pastries and want to cut the fat this is a good recipe. Use jelly or jam for the fillings

2 teaspoons active dry yeast
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons powdered milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
3/4 cup water

Add ingredients into bread machine by suggested order and process with dough cycle.
At end of cycle remove from machine and on a floured surface roll out the dough to a 12 by 16 inch rectangle. Cut into 12 inch squares. Spoon about 1 1/2 tablespoons filling in center. Press together 2 opposite corners to form a package. Place on a greased baking sheet.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bruch with egg white. Let Danish rise for 30 minutes or until puffy. Bake 15 minutes or until golden.
