Chocolate Brioche

This is a nice bread I like with tea or coffee. It is great for breakfast.

1 3/4 teaspoon dry yeast
2 2/3 cups bread flour
1/3 cup unsheathing cocoa powder
1/3 cups sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter
3 eggs
1/2 cup water

If using bread machine follow directions for addition of ingredients.


If mixing by hand mix all the dry ingredients and then add butter, eggs and water. Knead. Let rise once until double, punch down and put into a loaf pan. Let rise until double.
