Nell Sexton's Homemade Ice cream

I have made this Ice Cream for many years. It is easy and very good. I make all types of flavors including Pumpkin.

Nell Sexton's Homemade Ice cream

none

2 cans condensed milk
1/2 gallon regular milk
2 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
1/4-1/2 cup sugar
1/2 box rock salt

Mix together ingredients. Put into freezer. place ice around freezer
container about 1/2 to 2/3 the way up. Sprinkle ice cream salt into ice and
continue adding ice and alt being careful not to allow salty mixture to
contaminate ice cream. turn on ice cream freezer for about 20 to 25
minutes. To make chocolate ice cream substitute chocolate milk for regular
milk.
