Apple Crisp

This is a wonderful old-fashion American desert that is very easy to make. I like to scoop into a desert bowl and put whipped cream, ice cream or milk on the serving.

Apple Crisp

desserts

3 cups apples; chopped or sliced
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar

Combine the first 6 ingredients and put in greased casserole pan.
Cut together the remaining ingredients with pastry blender.
Sprinkle on top of apple mixture.
Bake 35 minutes

Yield: 6 servings
